Whilst it is difficult to precisely calculate the actual savings to be made from externally insulating your home due to differing energy usage and construction materials used the Energy Saving Trust issue guidelines to consumers.

They have researched this crucial area and the below table of possible savings are based on the Energy Saving Trust data for a standard 3 bed semi detached and have been extrapolated to cover other popular house types and to take account of realistic annual increase in energy costs.
